Picture that you’re a forrest creature, a desert predator, your fuel is the energy of the twilight hour - you are crepuscular.

I have a song titled “Scorpion” that continues to receive a flood of love from friends and strangers alike, but despite all the complex harmonies or emotional release of the production - most times without fail people ask me about one line in particular.

I love a flair for the theatrical but also a juicy word that I hope one day comes in handy for pub trivia. In the second verse passionate poetry is uttered with “I’m just a dangerous crepuscular being” which not only is a very fun line to say, but one I’m glad sticks with the listener.

The scorpion I’m describing is obviously me metaphorically but I wanted blend traits of the real exoskeletal critter that I have such a dear fascination with.
